Seine Motive findet Lucander in Zeitschriften, Magazinen, Groschenromanen, in Büchern und auf Plattencovern. Sein Hauptinteresse gilt dabei Porträts und Menschendarstellungen, allerdings nicht im traditionellen Sinn: Lucander bearbeitet seine Holztafeln explizit unmalerisch, die Figuren werden durch Bleistiftschraffuren und Zeichnungslinien angedeutet, bildnerische Tiefe bildet sich vielfach durch den gekonnten Einbezug der Holzmaserung aus. Der Farbauftrag ist auf kontrastreiche Setzungen in Lack beschränkt.Die vorliegende Monografie umfasst Werke der Jahre 1989 bis 2005 – von der frühen abstrakten Phase über die Gemälde auf Holztafeln bis hin zu den aktuellen Aquarellen.

Love these for my classroom!
Posters go great with my book! I use them as a visual as my class works through each of the love languages lessons. Order arrived on time. Update: I've used these posters for years now and they are great. I recommend laminating them so you can keep reusing them over the years. Two thumbs up!
