Die "1521" ist die bekannteste Kollektion der Marke Squale und hat ihren Namen von der ursprünglichen Produktionsreferenz, die Von Büren diesem Gehäuse in den 1960er Jahren gab. Die von Charles Von Büren in der Geburtsstunde der Taucheruhr erstmals entworfene und gefertigte Uhr garantiert mit ihrer Druckbeständigkeit von 50 bar allen Tauchfans bis zu einer (theoretischen) Tiefe von 500 Metern unter dem Meeresspiegel ein sicheres Gefühl.

Charakteristisches Merkmal ist das vollständig beleuchtete Zifferblatt, das gerade im Dunkeln zum Hingucker wird. Dazu kommen weitere Details wie z. B. die verschraubte Krone mit signiertem Logo, einem Verweis auf die Gründer der Marke Squale "von Büren S.A. / Montres" (Neuchâtel, Schweiz) und die Säuregravierung im Boden. Beidseitig entspiegeltem Saphirglas für optimale Ablesbarkeit unter allen Umständen komplettiert die Uhr.
