The Modern greenhouse by Janssens breaks away from traditional English aesthetics, embracing a sleek, contemporary design with a distinctive shed-style roof that slopes in a single direction. An additional row of glass panels along one side enhances natural light and openness, while the absence of decorative Victorian spires creates a clean, streamlined appearance.
Built for durability, it features a sturdy aluminum frame and 4mm tempered glass, capable of withstanding winds up to 120 mph and a ground snow load of 25 PSF. The aluminum rafters and roof profiles are twice the thickness of standard units, providing the strength needed to support the long roof span. Designed for flexibility, doors and windows can be installed in various locations to suit individual needs.
Essentially a free-standing "Lean-To," it offers 1 ft. more headroom than other greenhouses and includes a 4” foundation frame for added stability. The elegant black finish adds a touch of luxury, while heavy-duty rubber seals secure the panels. A gutter system with downspouts on both sides ensures efficient water drainage, making the Modern greenhouse a bold and reliable alternative to the Royal Victorian line.
