He then fills the compartments with various enamel colours reproducing the oceans and land masses, while repeatedly firing the enamelled dial plate at high temperature in a kiln.

This 38.5mm white gold timepiece is powered by Patek Philippe's Caliber 240 HU, a self-winding movement boasting a 48 hour power reserve.
