From the blistering opening track to the soaring, fist-in-the-air choruses, the record channels frustration, defiance, and hope into 11 uncompromising punk rock anthems. Lyrically, ‘Savages’ tackles themes of societal division, resilience in the face of adversity, and the fight to stay human in an increasingly fractured world. ‘Savages’ marks a bold evolution of Templeton Pek’s sound: heavier, darker, and more politically charged than anything they’ve done before, without losing the melodic hooks that have become their trademark.

“Savages is the record we’ve been wanting to make for years,” says frontman Neal Mitchell. “It’s loud, it’s pissed off, but it’s also about unity. These songs are for anyone who’s ever felt like they’ve had to stand up and shout to be heard.”

Formed in Birmingham, the UK trio—Mitchell (vocals/bass), Kev Green (guitar), and Simon Galvin (drums)—have spent the last decade building a reputation as one of the UK’s hardest-working punk bands, sharing stages with the likes of Rise Against, Bad Religion, Sum 41, The Offspring, Alkaline Trio, Pennywise, NOFX, and Millencolin.

With a release date of October 3, 2025, ‘Savages’ is being jointly released by Double Helix Records (USA) and SBÄM Records (EU).
