Elevate any room with the Draper Acumen Recharge V projection screen. Designed for fast, hassle-free installs, it delivers a clean, contemporary look that blends into modern interiors while offering a premium, cinema-like viewing experience. The Acumen Recharge V is engineered for effortless setup—no electrician or complex wiring required—so you can transform living rooms, home theaters, or conference spaces into high-impact projection environments with minimal disruption. The combination of a floating ceiling-friendly mounting system, a curved aluminum housing, and a pristine Matt White screen surface ensures precise image reproduction and a sleek, unobtrusive presence that complements both residential and commercial spaces.

  • Effortless, wire-free installation: The Acumen Recharge V is built for fast, low-cost setup without the need for electrical wiring or professional installation. It plugs into a standard outlet and features a compact, elegant housing that installs flush to the ceiling. This streamlined approach reduces downtime, eliminates costly electrical work, and makes it ideal for rental properties, classrooms, and multi-purpose rooms where minimal disruption matters.
  • Premium, low-profile design: The screen lives in a curved aluminum housing with a white powder coat finish that exudes modern sophistication. Its below-the-ceiling, floating mounting design helps the screen disappear when retracted, preserving sightlines and maintaining a clean ceiling line. The result is a stylish, high-utility screen that looks as good as it performs.
  • Large 123" diagonal for immersive viewing: With a generous 123" screen diagonal in a 16:10 format, the Acumen Recharge V provides expansive image real estate ideal for presentation clarity, cinematic experiences, and multi-seat viewing. The 16:10 aspect ratio is particularly well-suited for business presentations, data-heavy media, and widescreen content, allowing more room for charts, timelines, and side-by-side visuals without sacrificing vertical clarity.
  • Durable build and reliable operation: Draper’s Acumen line is known for sturdy construction and dependable performance. The XT1000VB model pairing ensures solid image retention and long-term durability in busy environments. A robust screen surface paired with a precision-retracted mechanism offers reliable operation day after day, while the matte white surface provides balanced brightness and accurate color rendition across a wide viewing angle.
  • Versatile usage with quiet, smooth operation: The Recharge V motor mechanism is designed for near-silent retraction and extension, minimizing distractions in theater, classroom, or living room settings. The system is optimized for quiet, consistent performance, making it suitable for late-night movie sessions, presentations, or home theater nights without drawing attention to the mechanism itself.

How to install Draper Acumen Recharge V

  • Plan your mounting location: Choose a ceiling area with strong joists or structural support, ensuring there is a clear projection path and adequate space for the 123" screen when fully extended. Verify ceiling dimensions and ensure the area can accommodate the screen’s mounted depth.
  • Prepare the mounting surface: Turn off nearby power outlets for safety during setup. Use a stud finder to locate ceiling joists and mark the optimal installation points for the floating mounting bracket. The Acumen Recharge V is designed for a low-profile, below-ceiling aesthetic, so plan for a concealed mounting approach that keeps hardware out of sight.
  • Attach the floating mounting system: Secure the floating ceiling bracket to the ceiling according to the included instructions, ensuring level alignment and solid fasteners. This step is critical for precise screen alignment and smooth operation. Use the recommended screws and anchors suitable for your ceiling type.
  • Mount the screen housing and connect power: Lift and attach the retractable housing to the mounting bracket, aligning any alignment tabs or connectors as specified. Plug the screen into a standard 110V outlet using the included power cord or supplied extension if needed, ensuring the cord is routed neatly to avoid interference with movement.
  • Test and adjust: Power on the system and run a full retract and extend cycle to verify smooth operation. Check for proper screen alignment, edge straightness, and a clean retraction into the housing. If needed, make minor adjustments to leveling, tilt, or bracket tension to achieve optimal projection alignment and zero top-edge keystoning.
  • Configure controls and finalize: Program the remote or wall switch as provided. Confirm that the screen responds reliably to commands, and store preferred settings for quick future use. Perform a final visual inspection from multiple seating positions to ensure color, brightness, and image geometry meet your expectations.

A Beta Worth Rooting For
Format: Kindle
In Spare, Violet Fox flips the omegaverse on its head, giving us a Beta heroine determined to make her mark. Joining the Beta Trials to support her sick father, she's thrown into a pack that doesn't want her, especially the possessive Alphas. But here's the twist: their sweet Omega turns out to be her scent match. Cue the angst, forbidden tension, and a slow-burn romance that will make your heart ache in the best way. Violet Fox delivers an emotional, refreshing take on the genre, proving Betas aren't "spares." They're stars.

Beta, Alpha, Omega oh my!
Format: Kindle
Omegas are precious and given to Alphas & their packs... but the Betas want in too. To this end, the Beta government is rolling out its trial of assigning a Beta to each Alpha-Omega pack. But forcing a Beta into a pack where they are not wanted will not end well... Of course, no one expected the Omega to fall for the assigned Beta. Great read and cliffhanger

A familiar story, just with…..less.
Format: Kindle
So, as other reviewers make clear, this is very similar to Pack Darling and The Beta. It’s much closer aligned with The Beta, in plot and maybe more like Pack Darling with characters. That being said, I don’t hate this…..but it wasn’t great either. It’s both books mentioned but just….less. Less angst, less emotion, less feeling. The plot feels very half fleshed out, and the “bad guy” feels underwhelming. I didn’t really feel any real emotions from and of the male leads, except maybe Oliver. The others fell sorta flat for me. And Mika makes herself out to be this big bad ass straight outta training and then we never see it from here again with the one fitting room incident as the exception. SPOILER: The whole, “Oh, I’m actually probably an Omega, but I don’t wanna be but I do actually wanna be but no one can ever know my secret that I do nothing to hide “ thing fell so flat. She never commutes to believing she was secretly an omega, but also mentions her “secret” a lot. It just felt so manufactured. I’m intrigued enough to read part 2 and see how the author closes everything out, but this is not one I’ll recommend or ever come back to.

Fun with a late blooming omega
Format: Kindle
I like this book. The story is fun, cute, and sexy. There's just a little drama, some excellent, steamy scenes, and a fairly good relationship building storyline. I especially like how all the main characters are a bit older than the usual 20 somethings I tend to see in this kind of book. Having said that, I wish there were more descriptions of the places, as well as the food in the fancy restaurant. I enjoyed the cocktails at the club, so I missed that kind of detail when Gray took Madison on a dinner date. I also wish there had been more interaction between Lucas and Madison, and Lucas and Rian. It felt a bit lopsided, with a focus on Rian, Madison, and Gray. I wish it had been proofread - there are a lot of typos, but nothing too distracting.
