AscentStep running boards are set apart from other, common oval side steps with their stylish, distinctive teardrop shape. The boards are rounded on the ends with seamlessly blended end caps, giving them subtle, superior style to complement your truck. The step pads of these running boards are also unique, featuring a two-part construction. They are comprised of a polyethylene tread base and a metal plate overlay. The poly treads protrude through the overlay, providing an aggressive accent and non-skid traction for a safe stepping surface. The stainless steel plates also help protect the running boards from scuffs, scratches and rust caused by frequent foot traffic. AscentStep running boards offer excellent rigidity with their high-strength steel construction. The steel is covered with a durable carbide black powder coat finish for dependable corrosion, scratch and UV resistance and for a clean, sleek look on your truck or SUV. Every set of ARIES AscentStep running boards is made for vehicle-specific application. This ensures optimal integration with the truck without any drilling or difficult modifications required. This particular set of custom running boards fits certain years of the Chevrolet Silverado 1500, 1500 Legacy, 2500 HD, 3500 HD or Tahoe and GMC Sierra 1500, 1500 Limited, 2500 HD, 3500 HD or Yukon (see application info to verify fitment). Additionally, AscentSteps are equipped with the VersaTrac system, meaning once the brackets are installed, they can accept other running boards or side steps with the VersaTrac system. Maestro House Mini Coffee Scale
I have begun to drink tea, pu’erh tea to be specific. I have several varieties and I have had a problem with getting consistent results. The varieties can be very different in size depending on when the leaves are harvested (leaves harvested in spring are much smaller). So the easiest way to get consistent results is by weight. This scale is very easy to use with a ceramic tea scoop, set the tea scoop on the scale, zero it out and add tea leaves. This has made my results much better, without the wild swings in strength I had been getting before trying to eyeball even measures. This scale gives me accurate measurements to one tenth of a gram.

Mostly great, except one little annoyance

Pros- lightweight, small, very accurate, easy to clean, timer included.
Cons- I use this to brew espresso on my Breville Touch and to get an accurate reading, you have to place something flat (structured) under the scale. Otherwise the reading just jumps all over the place. I know lot of espresso machines have the same base, so this might be an issue for some!
This is my reason for 4/5 stars. It’s an easy fix, it’s just kind of annoying. Value for the price seems to be on point. It’s easy to clean. It has a timer as well as scale (nice for espresso). Buttons work the first time you push them.

Great little espresso machine for home

I purchased this as a test case for home latte making. Considering the price, it is an excellent starter machine. The learning curve is not very dramatic and it is relatively easy to maintain. Unit is attractive and build quality is very good. Be sure to use filtered water. I have been using it regularly for months now and it has proved reliable. This has a very small footprint and would fit on most countertops. If you are looking for a starter espresso maker, this is a great option until you want to get really serious.
