Nuclear energy, greenhouse emissions, global warming, weapons of mass destruction, and biological warfare all cost millions of lives, but nothing compared to the final disaster that brought the Apocalypse to the planet. Supercomputers and untested science brought man to the next level of destruction. Scientists believed that they could replicate the birth of a black hole by accelerating particles in an enormous device known as a Hadron Super Collider.
