De bureaustoelen met draaionderstel en geremde wielen uit de Aluminium Group van Charles en Ray Eames uit 1958, voegen een iconische toets toe aan prestigieuze kantooromgevingen. Voor maximaal comfort zijn ze voorzien van een kantelmechanisme dat op het gewicht van de gebruiker kan worden ingesteld. Het verschil tussen de drie modellen zit hem in de hoogte van de rugleuning, even op een rijtje; de modellen EA 117 en EA 118 onderscheiden zich van de EA 119 door hun lagere rugleuningen. EA 118 heeft ook een iets smallere zitting en de zitpositie van dit model is beter geschikt voor activiteiten aan tafel.

De Aluminium chair kan bekleed worden in verschillende stoffen en leersoorten met de typische afwerking van de horizontale stiknaden.
