1950年代ワイスのラインストーンイヤリング。グレー、クリア、オーロラストーンが花のように立体的にセッティングされています。グレーストーンは角度によって時折虹色の煌めきを浮かべ、中心のオーロラストーンは色とりどりのミステリアスな輝きを放ちます。一粒一粒の輝きがとても美しく、お顔周りにシックな華やかさを添えてくれるお品。
※ラインストーンに小傷、イヤリング裏側のメタルにメッキ薄がございます。
【WEISS(ワイス)とは】
Albert Weissがデザイナーとして在籍していたCoroから独立し、1942年にNYで設立したコスチュームジュエリーカンパニー。WEISS本人がデザインを手掛け、制作も自社工場で行われました。WEISSのジュエリーは、オーストリア製の高品質なラインストーンを贅沢に使用した華やかなデザインが特徴。ラインストーンはその色と輝きが最も美しく見えるよう、一石ずつ手作業で爪留めされました。また、WEISSはその絶妙で印象的な色使いから「色の魔術師」と称されました。会社は1971年に閉業しましたが、そのクオリティの高さから現在もなおコレクターを魅了しています。
