Tasting Notes

Appearance

Bright amber with golden highlights, clear and inviting in the glass.

Aroma

Aromatic spices of cinnamon and pepper greet the nose, complemented by a subtle hint of vanilla. The bouquet is lively and approachable, with gentle smoky undertones that hint at the whisky's Scotch heritage.

Palate

It tumbles onto your palate with the freshness of spray from a breaking wave, bringing the zing of aromatic spices that fizz over the centre of your tongue. Bursting with vibrant, smoky flavours, this blend showcases a bold character that shines through even when mixed. The mouthfeel is smooth yet dynamic, with layers of pepper, cinnamon and a touch of sweetness balancing the lively spice.

Pairs With

Johnnie Walker Red Label pairs beautifully with ginger ale and a wedge of lime for a refreshing highball, or enjoy it alongside spiced Asian cuisine, barbecued meats or mature cheddar cheese to complement its bold, smoky character.

Serving Suggestion
Pour 30mL of Johnnie Walker Red Label into an ice-filled glass and top up with ginger ale. Garnish with a slice of ginger and a wedge of lime for a perfectly balanced serve.

Great book
Format: Paperback
This is very similar to Panel Two, which I bought because of certain comic book writers that I enjoyed. Panel One is basically the same, which provide examples and even so "how to's" and "why's that" type of information.

GOOD BUY!!!
Format: Paperback
I love this book. If you are interested in how comics are made do yourself a favor. Also pick up the WIll Eisner textbook trilogy.

Seeing the Creative Process for Graphic Novels
Format: Paperback
This is a fascinating look at the early creative processes writers do when they make scripts for graphic novels. The only down side to this book is it doesn't show any comparison between the scripts and the final product. I suppose that's part of the fun of this book is that you have to imagine the graphics just like the original artists did.
