Radion XR30 G6 Blue LED Light Fixture - EcoTech Marine

Radion XR30 G6 Blue LED Light Fixture is used for providing advanced lighting solutions for aquaculture and home aquariums, enhancing coral growth and coloration.

The Best-In-Class Just Keeps Getting Better!

The newest generation of EcoTech Radion continues to lead the way in the industry with mind-blowing improvements in light output and color. With a new LED cluster, a Hybrid Hemispherically Edge Illuminating (HEI2) optical system and diodes pushing deeper into the UV spectrum; the G6 Radions are bound to become your new favorite LED reef light.

From Aquaculture to the home aquarium, there is a high likelihood that the coral you know and love has been grown or “colored-up” under a generation of Radions.

Features and Improvements to the Radion G6

Radions are the standard in aquarium lighting for a reason. Each generation has built upon the successful results of the last, incorporating the latest in design and technology to bring us a state-of-the-art light that blends proven results with greater ease of use. Ecotech Marine has spent significant time and effort in developing and testing lighting programs, such as the popular SPS AB+, that deliver maximum results from their fixtures and bring out the best in our corals. The Radion G6 incorporates a new Hemispherically Edge Illuminating optic system with redesigned LED placement to deliver beautiful shimmer, superior color mixing, even PAR, incredible spread, and even adjustable hues!

  • New HEI2 Optic System
  • Super-Wide 126.3 Degree Spread
  • 395nm Diodes for Ultimate Fluorescence
  • Rebalanced Color Channels and LED Mix
  • Even PAR & High Output-- Almost 4ft of Coverage Area
  • Moonlight & Weather Simulation
  • Proven CoralLab AB+ Spectrum
  • Fully Programmable
  • Wireless Mobius App control
  • Mind-Blowing Spread with HEI2 Optical System

The Radion G6 achieves its mind-blowing 126.3-degree spread through a new and improved optical system. EcoTech implemented a change to the primary lens on the LEDs, which then integrates with the geometry of the existing HEI (Hemispherically Edge Illuminating) secondary lens to increase the output from an already impressive 110.5 to an outstanding 126.3 degrees! The super-wide spread has an added benefit of increasing output by reflecting off the aquarium side glass walls and reflecting light back into the tank, thus reducing shadows and providing light to the undersides of corals. This means that you can now light your tanks with even fewer fixtures! The G6 has the highest average output out of all Radions and can provide even PAR across almost four feet of coverage area, making it perhaps the most efficient aquarium light made to date.

Blue vs. Pro

The Radion G6 BLUE has gotten even bluer! Adjustments to the diode mix and the addition of 395nm offer new depths of color intensity and increased fluorescence. With the G6, you now have the ability to tune the Blue between actinic and crisp to find the perfect aesthetics for your tank.

The Radion G6 PRO is what you see as the lighting of choice in many public aquariums, aquaculture facilities, and coral spawning laboratories worldwide. It features a balanced LED mix with proven spectrums similar to the output of Metal Halide lighting.

Compact & Sleek, High-Quality Design

EcoTech Marine aims to produce the most minimally intrusive reef aquarium equipment available. The G6 continues to showcase Radion’s sleek styling, small footprint, and quiet fan with revolutionary heatsink. The Radion boasts a technologically superior design with premium quality components and unmatched customer support. Better yet, the Radion G6 is still backwards compatible with the extensive mounting options and accessories available to the previous generation of Radion, so you can still customize your lighting experience to fit your individual aquarium needs.

Mobius Control

More colors mean more channels, and with Mobius, programming and controlling your G6 is even easier and faster. Mobius means almost instant setup and programming. Local wireless control and programming can be accomplished with either the current OS version iOS or Android smart device. Experience the ultimate app-based control at your fingertips-- no separate controller purchase is required!

With the Mobius smart control platform, you can connect, control, and program your entire collection of EcoTech equipment easily with your iOS or Android smart device. That means centralized control of pumps, lights, dosing, and flow without needing to purchase expensive modules and controllers. The app's visual interface is intuitive and simplified-- the way aquarium automation should be. You can easily download Mobius for free from the App Store or Google Play.

Cute and educational
Format: Board book
Besides being such a cute story, the tactile features in this book hold my one year old's attention span: the different size pages and hole cut-outs. Also good for introducing days of the week, numbers, and fruits.

exceptional, very highly recommended character-driven literary family drama
Format: Kindle
Whistler by Ann Patchett is an exceptional, very highly recommended character-driven literary family drama which will definitely be one of the best books I've read this year. In Whistler Patchett has given us a beautifully written, eloquent, insightful and sensitive story encompassing the complexity of families, connections, and relationships over time. I love everything about this book. As they were visiting the Metropolitan Museum of Art, Daphne Fuller's retired husband Jonathan notices an older man following them and they discover he is Eddie Triplett, Daphne's former stepfather. She hasn't seen him for 44 years but immediately remembers her love for him and the bond they had for a couple years. The two also shared a traumatic experience when she was nine and they were in a car accident. Immediately after this Daphne's mother divorced Eddie and he disappeared from her life. After this chance meeting and reconnection, Daphne immediately and understandably needs to see and tell her younger sister, Leda, about it. The sisters had a complicated childhood that Daphne never felt was very happy. Daphne and Leda's biological father, Buddy Zabriskie, was a deep-sea fisherman and left the family early, although the girls had a relationship with him. Then their mother married Eddie and both girls loved him for the brief time he was in their lives. Their third and final stepfather, Lucas Ekker, still lives with her mother in Massachusetts and they had two sons. The two sisters were done with stepfathers at this point. As the narrative unfolds, Daphne and Eddie continue to meet and restore their relationship as father and daughter, but now as adults. While following the present day events, Interstitial chapters jump back in time when Eddie was her stepfather and cover the events from when they were in the car accident. It is during these interludes back in time that were learn the story of Whistler and also see the deep connection between Eddie and Daphne. Events in both the past and present show how complicated interpersonal relationships are, how little we truly understand of our past, and, ultimately, how fragile life can be. Because this is a character-driven story, all the characters are portrayed as realistic, fully realized individuals with strengths and weaknesses. The narrative examines relationships, choices made in both the past and present and how many seemingly small and inconsequential moments can follow us our whole lives. It also gently shows how being recognized and understood by another person, even for a short period of time, can change your life and theirs. Whistler by Ann Patchett is a wonderful choice for everyone who enjoys thoughtful, sensitive, character-driven literary novels. Thanks to HarperCollins for providing me with an advance reader's copy via Edelweiss. My review is voluntary and expresses my honest opinion.

Format: Kindle
Thanks go to the publisher and Netgalley for an advance copy of Whistler. I enjoyed this book. The story and characters, and references the the publishing world. I wanted to like it (at a 5 star level) more than I did. But overall, a good read.

Wonderful, Gripping, Suspenseful, and Miraculous!
Format: Hardcover
The first thing I thought when I started reading Ann Patchett’s new novel, “Whistler” was: “Oh no, this is SO GOOD it’s going to go by too quickly!” I was right, and the only remedy to that is to read it again – it’s that great. Patchett has created a matryoshka doll of a novel with a story inside of a story inside of story, and they are ALL wonderful, gripping, suspenseful, and miraculous! The inciting incident that sets off the story takes place in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in NYC. As Daphne and her husband Jonathan take in the art, Jonathan notices that they are being followed by an older man who turns out the be Daphne’s former stepfather, Eddie, whom she hasn’t seen in 44 years (since she was nine) but who was pivotal in how her life unfolded. Through the narrative, Daphne, and her sister Leda, relive long forgotten memories from their brief but impactful time with Eddie, now understanding what they couldn’t as children. Patchett has written about blended families, divorce, and stepparenting before, in her wonderful 2016 novel “Commonwealth”, and in some of the personal essays about her own childhood. So, she knows what she’s talking about! Patchett beautifully evokes childhood nostalgia and skillfully portrays the way the past can sometimes seem more immediate than the present, highlighting reconnection, reconciliation, and grace. Thank you yet again, Ann; this was just the book I needed right now!
