Product Description
The Schneider Electric SEL8F492 is a replacement surge protection cartridge designed for use with Acti9 iPRD iKQ surge protective devices installed within KQ II load centres. Suitable for both 1P+N and 3P+N configurations, this Type 2+3 cartridge provides reliable protection against transient overvoltages in commercial, industrial and tertiary electrical installations.
Featuring an integrated surge-adapted backup fuse, the SEL8F492 operates in differential mode by connecting phase to neutral (L-N). A clear front-facing visual indicator shows green when the cartridge is operational and red when replacement is required, ensuring straightforward maintenance and compliance checks.
Designed for fast plug-in installation, this cartridge supports quick replacement without disturbing the main SPD assembly, helping to minimise downtime and maintain system protection.
