It's based on an old recipe; a style of mulling that dates back to Roman times, was highly prized in the Middle Ages and includes spices such as mace, galangal and dash of black pepper. All you need to do is combine the cider and spice mix, heat, stir and serve. Doesn't get more festive than that!
